It’s been a lovely week. I went to the Sunflower Craft Fest
which is planned to be my last craft fair, mainly because of time restraints. Whether I can hold myself to that, we’ll see!
I really enjoyed the event and it reminded me of all the things I love about fairs – friendly, welcoming, lots of inspiring and creative people (and local with easy parking – always a bonus!). There weren’t many customers, but they were buying, which is a good thing! The quiet spells between buyers and the teeny tiny size of the event made it easy to chat and get to know other stallholders.
I love the sharing of information and ideas (and, incredibly kindly, fabrics – thank you so much Sarah!) that goes on at these events.
I’ve also had a nice week of orders…not too busy but lots of summery things
and weddings
for this weekend and next
and now I’m off to Handmade Monday, where there’s another way to share ideas. Come and join me – it’s only a click away.
P.S. All items pictured above are available over on the website – personalised to your specifications if required.
